Sunday School
Although
nursery childcare is provided for our youngest folks during our 10am Worhsip, once a month we offer a special Sunday School
program for our elementary-aged members. On Sunday, June 8, our children will explore the concept of Creation and will
learn a bit about Growing. Plan to come and participate. When the Sunday School learning time is done, we go into
the Church to join our families for Communion.
Christian Education
Informative
opportunities are offered from time to time for Christians and explorers at all age levels and for all aspects of our faith
journey. At St. Mark’s Church, we are more apt to explore questions together than we are to provide answers to
questions!
Study Group
Every
Wednesday, 3:30 – 5pm, our Study Group meets to explore books, ideas, topics, videos, and issues. Currently we
are reading together Amazing Grace: A Vocabulary of Faith by Kathleen Norris. This book is a series of reflections on
some of the vocabulary and “lingo” that we often take for granted in the Christian faith. Norris’
writing style is provocative and provides fuel for lively discussions on issues of faith, life and spiritual exploration.
